EXHIBITION 2025: 'CHARACTERS'
In August of 2025, I entered a competition for the chance to display artwork in Northbar (Briggate, Leeds). My work was selected to be displayed from September 6th- December 6th. I had a short window of time to add a few more paintings to the collection for the exhibition.
'Leeds-based illustrator and artist Megan Ankers brings bold, expressive caricature to life in her latest exhibition at North Bar.
Rooted in people-watching and a deep love for drag culture, queer expression and everyday social spaces. Megan's work celebrates the familiar and the fabulous. Working across acrylic and digital illustration, Megan's art feels equally at home on gallery walls, pub walls, or in your house.'
